Our history
Our history - 1950 - Present
1950 - 1970
Channel was founded in the 1950s by diemaker and inventor of the self locating creasing matrix, Mr. Harry Squire.
1970 - 1989
Patent held until late 1970s.
Channel factory moved from London to Wellingborough in 1989.
1990 - 2009
Trimplex founded in early 1990s.
Trimplex purchased by Synnovia in 2004.
Channel purchased by Synnovia in 2007.
Channel and Trimplex mergered and renamed as C&T Matrix in 2008.
2010 - Present
C&T India founded in 2011
C&T China founded in 2012.
C&T acquires Beijing Shengli in 2013.
C&T acquires Channel Creasing Matrix (CCM) in USA in 2016
C&T takes a 75% stake in its Italian distributor, Mito Srl, in 2017
C&T acquires Clear Group in Spain in 2022
